MR. NIBBLES
Mr. Nibbles is a 9 year old, Beagle/Jack Russell mix who's tail never stops moving! He is such a happy dog but unfortunately has had some bad luck in life. He was recently returned due to the Vet diagnosing he is diabetic. He is also partially blind due to the disease. HOWEVER, he is very smart and figures out how to get around places with minor ease, including climbing steps on a leash. Nibbles does well around other dogs and cats as well. He will need insulin injections, twice daily and is on a special food. His only wish in life is to find that special home that can continue to manage his disease and give him lots of love. In return, he'll make you a wonderful and loving companion.
ABBY
Miss Abby is a Treeing Walker Coonhound of about 3-5 years old. She is working on the finishing stages of housebreaking in a foster home and doing better. Miss Abby did not come from the best situation, so our foster home is giving her lots of love and attention! She does well around most other dogs her size but no felines please! Soon after coming to us, we learned that Abby had seizures and is on medication to keep that under control. Her foster Mom will happily discuss this with you. A fenced yard is preferred.
LUCKY
Lucky is an 11 year old, Terrier mix of about 20 pounds. He was returned to us because he does not do well around children in the home...they make him nervous. So we are seeking a more quiet setting for him and one that wouldn't mind putting him in another room when visiting children come over. Lucky is housebroken and enjoys going for car rides and laying around and taking naps.
Luther is a 3-4 year old, Black Lab mix with a great personality. He loves to be around people! He is 99% housebroken and loves to play with squeekie toys and cuddle up on a blanket. Luther came to us from another shelter and after a trip to our Vet, we learned that his eyesight is not so good. You would never know this, as he handles this slight disability with ease and has no problems running around in our fenced yard. He may do well around some other dogs, but would need to meet them first. A fenced yard is preferred.
LUKE
Luke is a loving, smaller Lab mix of 6 years old. His buddy, Mya, is pictured below and that is who he came to us with. We believe Luke has had a tough life before coming to us and has a few minor medical issues which we would love to tell you about. His happy and loving personality is well worth it! A fenced yard is preferred.
MYA
Mya is a Husky/Shepherd mix of 6 years old. She came to us with Luke and will need an owner that is patient and understanding. She is learning quickly how great it feels to receive love and attention and especially LOVES to be brushed. Not a mean bone in this body. She has done well hanging out with Luke, but has been known to be pushy around other dogs. So, if you already have one, she would need to meet him/her!! A fenced yard is preferred.
LIBBY
Shy and graceful, Libby is a 6 year old Shepherd mix who just loves to be around that special person! She has a protective nature about her and will alert you when strangers are around the home. Libby doesn't mind other dogs, but would do best as the only dog as she just doesn't like to share your attention and does not like other dogs in her face. Cats are also not her favorite. A home with teenage + children is recommended. A fenced yard would be nice, but to help her bond with you, an avid leash walker might be just as nice for her.
EMILY
Emily is a Cocapoo of about 12 years old. But...do not let this age confuse you - this gals energy level! She can easily outrun many of our younger dogs at the shelter! Emily would do well around other dogs close to her own age as even though she can outrun the youngsters, she would prefer not to put up with them!! She enjoys going for walks.
